Tye-Dye Floral Motif

This piece showcases some of my favorite special glass that is made by mixing three colors together to achieve the swirls of hues you see! The colors that are mixed are Lime Green, Cranberry Red, and Royal blue- and those combine to create a myriad of purples, oranges, rusts, magentas, and many other unexpected colors! I wanted to create areas of interest by clashing seemingly contrasting colors together while pulling from the diverse pallete the “tye-dyed” glass uses. I also love how all the shapes and lines interact to create the pattern you see.
